Homebuyers Get More Home for Their Money at Mahogany

A selection of Mahogany homes is available now for move-in before April 30.

With several homes available to close before April 30, Mahogany homebuyers may be eligible for current federal tax credits of $8,000 for first-time buyers and $6,500 for repeat homebuyers. Buyers must be on contract by April 30 and close by June 30. Many builders don’t have homes available to allow the credit, according to Lora Heramb, vice president of sales and marketing for Brookfield Homes. Low interest rates give prospective homebuyers another reason to buy a new home now.

“Located just east of Carlsbad, Mahogany homes are priced starting from the mid $600,000s, which is significantly less expensive that comparable neighborhoods,” said Heramb. “Also adding tremendous value is our company’s adherence to strict design and construction guidelines that benefit homebuyers today and in the future.”

The two-story homes at Mahogany range from 3,090 to 3,875 square feet and have four to five bedrooms, 3.5 to 4.5 bathrooms and two-car-plus garage spaces. For more information, call 760-752-3001 or visit the sales office at 1756 Burbury Way, San Marcos.

Among the examples of construction differences provided as standard by Brookfield Homes are: drywall that is nailed and screwed for greater sturdiness; butterfly stucco reinforcement to help minimize cracking around doors and windows; an enhanced moisture barrier; weatherproofing and more. Many other quality construction items are reflected on the website.
