Singleton Moms Fundraising Golf Event Raises a Record $60,248 to Help Local Single Parents Battling Cancer

PEORIA, Ariz. – 5/7/2013 – The Blackstone Country Club Singleton Moms Charity Golf Tournament raised a record $60,248, a five percent increase over last year, to provide funds for local single parents who are battling cancer.

More than $60,000 was raised for single parents suffering from cancer during the Singleton Moms Golf Tournament at Blackstone Country Club at Vistancia in Peoria, AZ.

This year marked the third tournament hosted by Blackstone County Cub at Vistancia, located within the 7,100-acre Vistancia master plan in Peoria. The non-profit organization is dedicated to bringing hope, help and support to struggling single parents in Maricopa County who are fighting the disease.

Singleton Moms was founded in 2006 by two Valley women who watched their childhood friend, Michelle Singleton, succumb to cancer.
