You don’t hear about acts of charity like this often, although it does happen from time to time. Brady Homes of Bloomington IL has built what’s being called the St. Jude Dream Home in Urbana to help raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Peoria. The home is valued at $300,000, and raffle tickets were being sold at $100 apiece to have a shot at winning the home. There were also many other prizes to make the entire affair more inviting. The drawing will take place later on the 9th of October.
The home itself is a masterpiece. It came in at 2,714 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms, and includes a finished basement that could add another bedroom if needed. It also has a 3-car garage. The master bedroom has a large walk-in closet and a master bathroom with an oversized bathtub. Whoever the winner is will be winning a magnificent place to live.
