New Homes Section Weekly Charity Football Pool

arizona-sportsroids-cardinalsWelcome to New Homes Section’s first weekly charity football pool! It won’t be this late every week. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible and donate it to the winner’s charity of choice. Holidays are coming up and a lot of families could use some help. Plus, who doesn’t love a little competition?

Here’s how it works… Each week during the NFL football regular season, we will be posting a list of team matchups. From there, contestants must select which team they think is going to win each matchup. The contestant who picks the most winning teams is then allotted the entire donation amount ($5 per contestant), 100% of all entry monies will be donated to the charity of the winner’s choice on behalf of the winner.

Yes, this is very similar to regular office football pools. And yes, there are a few rules that will be stated in bullet points:

• $5 to enter, no more, no less.
• If there is a tie, the winner will be determined by the contestant who predicts Monday’s game score within the closest amount of points (over or under the score).
• If the above tie breaker results in yet another tie, the winnings will be split among each of the winners.

Below are this week’s football matchups. Copy and paste the following to a word processor or text file and email to footballpool@newhomessection.com, or leave a list of your winning teams and the combined score of the Monday night game in the comments below, before midnight Saturday. All bets are off Sunday. **Please include in your email your email used to submit the donation and don’t worry, you can donate now and pick your teams tomorrow.
