News Release 9-29-09: LGI Homes was recently recognized by J.D. Power and Associates for overall quality and overall customer satisfaction in Houston, Texas. The builder ranked #3 overall in quality and #8 in overall customer satisfaction, two nice additions to an already long list of recent achievements. In these two categories, LGI Homes was the highest ranked builder offering entry-level homes; the home builders that ranked higher than LGI Homes primarily offer luxury and move-up housing. In terms of quality, LGI Homes ranks ahead of large national home builders that offer houses in the Houston area of Texas.

When determining a home builder’s customer satisfaction score, J.D. Power and Associates uses nine different categories: builder’s warranty/customer service staff, workmanship/materials, price/value, home readiness, recreational facilities provided by the builder, construction manager, builder’s sales staff, builder’s design center, and location. LGI Homes received four out of five stars in seven of the nine categories.
