Jon & Kate Plus 8 is a reality show on TLC that features Jon and Kate Gosselin and their eight children – a set of sextuplets (three boys and three girls) and a set of twin girls. The family first appeared on television network Discovery Health, in the form of two hour long specials. From there, TLC continued to film the family for weekly shows beginning in January of 2007.
As one of TLC’s highest rated programs, many viewers have been encouraging Jon and Kate to take up residence in a home that would be far more suiting to the family’s unusual needs – production equipment, additional lighting, and of course eight young children. The family had reportedly been searching new houses for quite some time.
Where do Jon and Kate Gosselin Live?
Earlier this year, Jon & Kate Plus 8 aired an episode featuring their new home. A $1.12 million dollar home in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The home was built in 1998 and features five bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths, and 6,200 square feet of living space.
Airs on TLC May 25th
Jon and Kate first met in October 1997 and were married shortly after on June 12, 1999. In February 2000 Kate became pregnant with twins, Cara Nicole and Madelyn “Mady” Kate, after turning to intrauterine insemination. In October 2003, the couple turned once again to fertility treatment this time to discover Kate was pregnant with the sextuplets – Alexis Faith, Hannah Joy, Aaden Jonathon, Collin Thomas, Leah Hope, and Joel Kevin.
Jon, Kate, their eight children, and Shooka & Nala (the family’s German Shepard dogs who became part of the family during Christmas 2008) are reportedly much happier in their mansion size home.

Yeah, I imagine a 6500 sq ft home would make it easier. With 10 people living in a house you wouldn’t all want to have to share 1 bathroom

I could have a home like that if I begged for freebies to help raise my family, bilked old ladies and naive young women out of money at churches, sold my signature for $100.00, and sold pictures of my family for $20.00.
Watch episodes from season four and then praise this witch for how she is treating her fans and her family.
I have watched the Jon & Kate show for quite a while, and am surprised the marriage has lasted this long.
It seems ( to me ) that Kate was always the center of the show and was constantly belittleing Jon. She yells at him and always gives those love taps or slaps. She also goes off the deep end when the children get dirty. I also think that there is something wrong with Maddie and they should have her checked by a Doctor, she doesn’t act normal. We normal people don’t think all these trips and all is necessary, but I suppose they are all paid for. I honestly feel sorry for Jon and the way Kate treats him, maybe this is a wake up call for all concerned. I do think that the little kids are cute and I enjoy watching them.

I think they should give up the show and Kate should think more of her husband. She should learn to be kinder to him and not put him down and fuss at him constantly.
I think Kate is great she is the glue in her family, Jon would not have stuck around if he didn't love her. so i think they will both be fine.. and people need to lay off of them.. we don't judge the way you do things. and you should not Judge them!!! there is always more to the story then what meets the eye.
I loved J&K plus 8 but everything they wanted they told there fans and it was given. They have been usings the kids since the show started, tummy tucks,hair transplants,a wedding,music instruments,now she wants to follow her 4 yrs in which we could see how she changed on what not to wear!!!! I want to see the kids and family happy not a broken one. We known how that goes. The last 2 years I have turned it off and needed to calm myself down,and I am speaking for alot of people out there. Stick with the Duggers thats a family to follow. Josh and Anna need to calm down alittle and take aback seat. but great great show. I love TLC and will continue to watch alot of your shows. J&K plus 8 NO!!!!!!!
As a mother and wife my advice to Jon would be to get your kids and run far, far away!!! Maddy needs a shrink ASAP she is "Kate" in the making and if you don't get her away from her mother she is doomed to end up a miserable and lonely individual. Kate, bottom line this isn't all about you!!!! Your actions on television confirm your own insecurities and why your personal business is all out there. Stop trying to play the victim here and accept responsibility for your actions! This show has run the course let it go already!!!
Wake up, America. This is not REALITY! These sell-outs don't deserve an hour of your time each week. Go out and help someone who really needs it.

I am a mother of three under the age of five they can drive you crazy children are children one minute they love you the next they hate you and want a new mom. I think Kate is no different from any other person who has lost it and remember children can drive you crazy so drive them crazy before they drive you there
The house and the grounds are great for the children. I wish the family many happy years and great memories in this home. just remember.We as human can not understand why you and not me why did you have the luck.A large percentage of pepole will pay to get the dirt because dirt sells.Kate and Jon if you had not of decided to do the reality show the happenings in your life would be who's concern? Again i truly wish this family all the best in the best in the world .
What a pity. Such a lovely family who truly loved each other and all their children at the beginning. Now I wonder. I think what is missing in this family is god at the centre. I noticed at a few of their meal sessions, no prayers were uttered by any of the parents. They have just become so worldly wanting more and more for their satisfaction. i grew up in a large family (8 children, a year apart) and we lived simply using one bathroom, we had three bedrooms and life was fun. There was no belittling of my dad by mom or vice versa. Kate needs to give Jon a chance. I can see that he loves her but does not appreciate how she criticizes everything he says or wants to do. No kate. Even though you are 2 years older than jon you are driving him away by your behaviour. This is just too sad, because in the long run it is the children who would be affected the most. Maddie needs serious discipline. She is becoming a not so nice Kate in print.
Do you really think Jon and Kate are really getting a divorce for their kids? I like their show but i was really disappointed when they announced they were getting a divorce! If they were really trying to do the best for their kids they would be quitting the show and working on their relationship! I love Jon, Kate, and their kids but I'm afraid they are making the wrong desison.

It’s a shame that they broke up. To be honest, they never looked like they were truly happy. The family looked happy, but Jon & Kate looked like they hated life (especially Jon). I hope the divorce doesn’t affect the children too much, but that’s highly unlikely.

This two have to stop acting like kids, and most of the time money makes people change apparently they had their issues. I think Kate is so fake.They should try to get along for the sake of the children and they are so beautiful they are so innocent.

I’m so sick of hearing about how people don’t like Jon and Kate because they get things given to them… For all of you people who say that… If you got those things offered to you would you say oh no thanks anyway I don’t want that? No if you got offered something you want you would take it and most of the things they get offered benefit the kids also and if you people would pass that up, your bad parents. I myself have a baby and times 8 there’s no way anyone can take care of those kids with one or even both parents working. They do the best they can and you people who put them down for getting free things are just jealous!
Not a big fan of the show or any of these types of shows. But this is a beautiful home and I hope it helps them out.

It is a lovely house but, when a little one is calling “mummy wipe my bottom” and you can’t find them because you have to many bathrooms! well thats not a good thing, Kate, that Jon & coopon thing, not good, why did you put him down soooo much? Jon, Why???? why would you leave such lovely children? you should of stood your ground with Kate more. Children, Just perfect, don’t ever change. Good luck to you all.
I think Kate is money hungry and doesn’t care what she does to get it. If she is such a great mother she wouldn’t be traveling all over the place. I hope when the children get in their teens they turn out okay because their upbringing is not a loving family. Kate is too self centered for that. We saw that when Jon was still there.
Have they done a where are they now special on these two yet? I because it seems every few months you hear something about one of them.
