Sacramento Area New Home Sales Remained Strong In March – Folsom Times

New homes continued to be a popular choice for prospective homebuyers in the greater Sacramento region in March, according to the latest report from the North State Building Industry Association (BIA). BIA members reported selling 604 new homes during the month, with sales virtually identical to February and 8% above March 2023. BIA President and CEO Tim Murphy attributed the strong sales to the advantages new homes offer, such as energy efficiency and a wide choice of styles and locations. Manufactured Home Parks Registration

The registration process for manufactured home parks has now moved to the Tax Department. To submit your registration or update your account, access MHPR on the Tax Department website. If this is your first time using the online registration system, you can request an account. The new online registration allows you to provide necessary information for STAR and includes details about lots and adult residents. You will need to report lot information twice a year in June and December. You can manually enter or upload your lot information using the new application.
