The St. Joe Company Announces New Homebuilder Relationships With Holiday Builders and Harris Doyle Homes | Business Wire
The St. Joe Company (NYSE: JOE) has exciting news to share! They have established new homebuilder relationships with Holiday Builders and Harris Doyle Homes. These regional homebuilders will join St. Joe’s builder program, which already includes 19 builders across 16 active communities in Northwest Florida.
Holiday Builders, with over 40 years of experience, has signed a contract with St. Joe to purchase homesites in the Salt Creek at Mexico Beach community. This marks the first contract for single-family homesites in this new community. On the other hand, Harris Doyle Homes, one of Birmingham’s largest homebuilders, has recently contracted to purchase homesites in St. Joe’s Breakfast Point® East community in Panama City Beach.
According to Bridget Precise, Senior Vice President of Residential Real Estate for St. Joe, these new builder relationships will diversify the new home offerings for buyers at every stage of life in their residential communities. The interest from these builders demonstrates the continued demand for homesites in Northwest Florida as it attracts full-time residents from across the country.
St. Joe’s homebuilder program comprises a mix of large national builders, regional builders operating throughout the southeast, and local builders with a focus on Northwest Florida. The new homes offered by these builders in St. Joe’s residential communities range in price from the low $300,000s to over $3 million.
Holiday Builders and Harris Doyle Homes are planning to have new homes ready for sale in 2025 in the Salt Creek at Mexico Beach and Breakfast Point East communities, respectively.
Development underway for first 1,000 homes of master-planned community in Flower Mound
Hines, Trez Capital, and the Furst family of Flower Mound have acquired the initial 90 acres for Furst Ranch, a massive master-planned development. Located at U.S. Highway 377 and Cross Timbers Road, the project is expected to span over 1,000 acres and feature three residential neighborhoods: High Plains, Prairie Vista, and Cross Timbers.
The homebuilders involved in the project include David Weekley, Coventry, Highland, Shaddock, Drees, Tradition, and Partners in Building. The newly acquired 90 acres are part of the High Plains neighborhood, with development already underway. Over the next six years, Hines and its partners plan to purchase the remaining 948 acres.
The Flower Mound Town Council approved the project, and future phases may include multifamily units, single-family homes, residences for seniors, and commercial space. The development will be within the Argyle Independent School District.
