Sunriver is a master-planned active adult lifestyle community based in St. George, Utah. These type of communities are popping up everywhere, but it’s the first one in the area. In essence, it’s a community where at least one person in each household must be older than 55, and no one under 18 years old can permanently live. The idea is to build a sense of security and services geared towards adults. It includes a community center that has an indoor/outdoor pool and spa, a library, ballroom, computer and card rooms, and a New Life Fitness Center.
There are 15 floor plans to choose from with prices starting around $190,000, and there are some million dollar homes as well. Every home has at least 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, but from there the skies the limit. Something unique the community offers is a Vacation Villa for seniors who either want to try out the community or just want a safe place to go for a brief holiday. It’s a beautiful area near a golf course that has lots of open spaces for walking, biking and enjoying many other outdoor activities.
