Hamlet Homes 2010 Builder Of Integrity Award Winner

Salt Lake City-based home builder Hamlet Homes won the 2010 Builder of Integrity award from the Quality Builders Warranty Corporation (QBW). The award is for a commitment to excellence in customer service and quality construction.

The program involves a tough screening process which includes home buyers and companies that work with the home builders. It’s not only about customer service, but about construction, attempts to be as green as possible, quality products, and following up on their customers, whether they’re complaining or not, over the course of the first 10 years of ownership.

Hamlet Homes concentrates in the Wasatch Front area as far as development and redevelopment of urban property. They build single-family homes, townhomes and condominiums, usually between $150,000 and $300,000, though they can go both higher and lower as necessary. They also have their own mortgage lending company, Stirling Mortgage, which is affiliates with Wells Fargo.

Some of their urban communities include Birkhill at Fireclay in Murray, Huntley Manor in South Salt Lake City, and Waverly Station in Salt Lake City. They also have communities in South Jordan and West Valley. And there are many home communities in which they’ve built homes over the last 15 years that no longer need new homes, yet are still considered some of the best homes ever built in those areas.

It’s always good to have the opportunity to work with not only an award-winning company, but one that’s known for its great customer service. Hamlet Homes is right up there with the best.
