Garbett Homes Strives For Green

Garbett Homes, one of Utah’s top homebuilders, is wants to be Utah’s “Greenest” Builder. They are building solar powered and thermal powered homes at Daybreak in South Jordan, part of their Solaris collection. They have joined forces with California-based KTGY Architects towards that goal.

Every Garbett Home is built at 100% Energy Star certification, which ends up reducing energy bills for their consumers. The Solaris homes at Daybreak are around 2,200 square feet, 3 bedrooms with 2 1/2 bathrooms and 2-car garages. They have built-in solar panels to power the homes, and their goal is to build these homes without increasing the cost of the homes. And their unique design smacks of modern living that one doesn’t see everywhere. Prices begin at $206,000.

Garbett Homes is also unique in that they offer their own financing, so there’s no need to work with banks to find great deals.
