When it comes to large national home building corporations, Taylor Morrison is one of the top names in the country. It’s a company that’s been building homes for around 125 years in many states, and sold more than 3,300 homes last year, earning more than $1.3 billion when the rest of the industry was having difficulties.
That’s why it was a great honor that they were named the top private home builder in the country by Builder Magazine for 2009. That the company wins awards all the time is amazing in the first place, as they also earned a J.D. Power & Associates award this year, the New Home Quality Study award for their Sacramento division. Taylor Morrison has won more overall builder awards than any other company and, though based in Scottsdale AZ, has won 15 Builder’s Choice Awards from Builder magazine for their southern California properties.
