KB Homes also has a new home community in Houston called Ella Crossing. The price of a home in this community starts at $78,000 and goes up to around $130,000. The Lakes of Southern Crossing is a unique community that builds its own homes under the Southern Crossing name. The price of their homes range from $70,000 to $150,000, only costing about $45 per square foot. Overall, homes range from between 1,540 to 2,400 square feet, 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms and 2 car garages.
