There are many incredible exhibits to look at and appreciate. You can start with an assortment of bronzes, paintings and prints by world-renowned artists such as Remington, Russell, Clymer, Catlin and Damrow. Bison Western Museum displays a collection of prints, photographs, clothing, documents and other rare collectables, including one of Buffalo Bill Cody’s famous rifles. The “Dances with Wolves” display contains props and items from the movie and a collection of Native American artifacts.

Bison Western Museum in ScottsdaleAnother one of the museum’s highlights is the recently recovered works from Scottsdale’s “First Family” of Western artists, the Flagg family. The Flagg exhibit features an array of mesmerizing pieces, which include tools, sketches, prints and award winning woodcarvings and paintings. One incredible piece in particular is the sketch by Monte Flagg of the original 13-foot high lasso-wielding cowboy landmark that welcomed visitors to Old Town Scottsdale.

You can also visit the library/den, conference room, party lounge, gift shop and the Bison Homes information center. These amenities provide the perfect western themed setting for business meetings, company parties, fundraisers, guest speakers and more.
