Tickets available now to event recognizing the best of the best
SAN DIEGO (Sept. 3, 2010) – Tickets are now available for the Icon Awards, a Building Industry Association celebration to recognize outstanding projects and professionals.
Hosted by the Sales & Marketing and Building Resources councils of the BIA of San Diego County, the Icon Awards event will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at Anthology, 1337 India St., in San Diego. Tickets are $125 for BIA member/$175 for non-members.

“We didn’t have either SAM or BIG awards last year, so this year is more exciting than ever,” said Sara Kilburn, president of the board of the Sales & Marketing Council. “These recognitions are past due, so it will be an evening to remember as we showcase the best of the best and celebrate our industry’s finest.”
Combining former BIG and SAM awards into one event, the BIA’s Icon Awards will include several categories: designer, trade representative, contractor, superintendent / customer service representative, project manager and administrator / office manager.
Other awards to be announced include: Best Interior Design, Best Designed Project and Best Overall Marketing Campaign.
