Stone Canyon Lofts
Despite the slump hitting the Las Vegas real estate market, new properties are still being built. One of the keys to surviving the market is finding a niche and providing for it. Blue Heron has done just that. The family owned and operated company was started in 2004 by three Las Vegas natives and one other family member from Georgia. There first project was a small boutique community of “loft style” luxury homes offering contemporary design and plenty of options. Stone Canyon lofts quickly became the standard for the company and they are in the process of building a couple of similar communities around the Las Vegas valley. In 2007 the community also garnered Blue Heron’s first award, the Golden Nugget Awards Grand Award for the best single family home design, beating out thousands of other entries from 14 western states.
Blue Heron has focused on small, boutique communities of upscale “loft style” homes offering open floor plans and loads of options and upgrades. The homes are built to green construction techniques and are energy efficient. Recently the company has expanded their line away from the loft style homes they are known for into the estate home market. Their newest community Marquis Las Vegas, will offer custom estate size homes up to 10,000 square feet. They also guarantee consumers that their home will be move-in ready within 12 months. The community is located just a short drive from the Las Vegas strip in an established luxury neighborhood.
If you were looking for something outside of the normal cookie cutter communities and home design, Blue Heron still has a few new loft style homes available for sale at 22 Parkside. With only 22 homes total in the community, these homes will not be on the market for long.
