The Meadows Edge At Highland Woods is a new homes community of 145 homes in Elgin, IL. The home builder for the community is M/I Homes, which has been in existence since 1976, which also builds homes in 6 other states and is listed on the NY Stock Exchange as a publicly traded company.
As it pertains to Meadows Edge, it’s around 154 acres of housing and ecological beauty which includes 12 small lakes, lots of green spaces and walking trails, and a conservation area. There’s also a community clubhouse with a fitness room, a water park and a sports course. There’s even an elementary school within the community.
There are 7 floor plans that start with the Pinehurst, around $250,000 and at 2,050 square feet, which can have 3-4 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, a 2-3 car garage, and a large master bedroom with a walk-in closet and separate master bathroom. It also comes with 3 choices of how you might want the outside of the home to look.
On the high end is the Augusta, starting around $320,000 and 3,144 square feet, which comes with 4-5 bedrooms, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 bathrooms, a 3-car garage, a den, family room and living room with a covered porch, and a master bedroom with two walk-in closets and a master bathroom with the toilet separate from the bathing and showering area.

There are actually 12 builders in this beautiful clubhouse/pool community (see this link http://bit.ly/cikFei ), so there’s something for just about every home buyer. Prices start in the $250′s but go all the way up to $1 million. This is a very nice place to raise a family.
