The Concord Commons II neighborhood of Des Plaines, Illinois (not to be confused with Concord Commons Apartments in Rockford, IL) is an area of rapid growth, and many new townhomes are being built by Lennar Homes in the area. It’s a quiet, landscaped community the offers maintenance free living and very close access to the city of Chicago. There are all kinds of opportunities for recreation and entertainment nearby, such as parks, golf courses, and even a water park. This ensures that residents are able to find things to do in the immediate area, although of course if you want to leave the neighborhood there are plenty of modes of transportation to do so.
The floor plans offered in the community come in different varieties, but there are two primary plans that are the mainstay of the townhomes. The Camden floor plan starts at about 1,700 square feet, and runs about $250,000. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and a 2-car garage. The Atwood is a similar plan, slightly less square feet than the Camden, but larger bedrooms, two of them, 2 1/2 bathrooms and also with 2-car garages. Both floor plans include a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances, marble countertops and natural wood cabinets.
