The Villagio is a gated condominium and apartment community in Estero, FL. It’s said to offer old world Mediterranean style living with many shops and restaurants right within the community so that its residents never have to leave. There’s even a community center with an ice cream parlor, movie theater and fitness center, along with 3 pools and many other events and opportunities. All of this lying on acres of natural reserves, lakes, walkways and waterways.
Depending on what you’re looking for, you can rent or purchase affordable living space or spend more money for something a bit more spectacular. There are over 500 units in all. Condominium prices range from a low around $70,000 all the way up to $300,000. On the low end one can purchase 1 bedroom homes with a den and a 1-car garage, or they can go extravagant and shoot for 3 bedroom units with a den, master bedroom, 3 bathrooms and 2-car garages. Every once in awhile the community allows for specially designed units to be built, and all is monitored by the Villagio At Estero Condo Association‎. There is a $349 monthly fee for living in the area, but all maintenance is taken care of.
