When you’re building homes that often start at $2 million, you don’t talk much about neighborhoods but about homes instead. Shear Construction is a luxury home builder based in Miami that builds exclusive mansion sized homes throughout southern Florida, including Miami and Coral Gables. They also build luxury condominiums that start around $650,000 while offering many amenities not always found within most condominiums.
It’s amazing what can be done when there’s no restriction on price. Using the word “house” isn’t sufficient; if you’re building a $4 million home, it’s an estate. Since there are no restrictions either, there’s no minimum or maximum figures when it comes to square feet, bedrooms, garages, whatever. There’s also never a question as to the quality of the appliances or anything else on the inside of the house. Olympic-sized pools are the norm, with marble surfaces rather than tile.
Of course, they also build some smaller homes here and there, still luxury homes but not as costly. Single family home prices start around $600,000, and are for those clients who don’t want as much sprawl surrounding them. But make no mistake about this; it’s all about quality and customer service with Shear.
