Royal Corinthian Homes is a luxury homebuilder based in the Fort Myers area. It’s actually the residential portion of J.L. Wallace Inc.. a company known for building stylish commercial properties for more than 25 years.
On their own, they have 3 home communities throughout southwest Florida. One is called Renaissance, a gated community which boosts of 400 residences on 500 acres in Lee County. Another is called Cape Harbour in Cape Coral, which is a gated yacht community, something different as far as home communities go. Finally there’s the Verandah, in the Fort Myers area, another gated community where 70% of the property is made up of natural preserve areas, parks, wetlands, lakes, golf courses and a conservation buffer.
Recently Royal Corinthian announced a new model home built in that very same Verandah community. It’s on the edge of Jack Nicklaus’ Whispering Oak golf course, one of the two golf courses in the community. It’s large, coming in at 5,367 square feet, and is known as the Grand Marquis. The standard features are three bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a 2-car garage. Where things change begins with a private guest cabana suite, accessible only from outdoor areas, which has a bay window overlooking the golf course, and a morning kitchen, and its own full bath. Add to that four lanais, which are porches, surrounding the house. Of course there’s a pool and spa; what home in Florida would be complete without one?
The outside of the house is a series of stone arches with Corinthian capitals and twisted columns. There are large windows on each side of the wood-and-glass front doors are topped by fanlights as are the doors. There’s so much more to this home that you have to see it to believe it, as the image of the outside of the house is shown here, and its price… $1,167,000 fully furnished. This is luxury at its finest; if you’re in this area you owe it to yourself to see this home.
