You made some good points. When budget is an issue, painting the walls is the place to start. Refinishing the cabinets is a great idea that is often overlooked. Too many quality cabinets are junked when a new finish and some new hardware will make them like new. Going with a totally different stain is a good idea. It enforces the newness to someone who has looked at them over time.

I’m glad these tips were enjoyed by so many of you, and some of the tips you shared are great as well. Stephen, I tried that curved shower curtain thing once and it disoriented me so much, making me feel like I was going to fall, that I had to remove it and go back to the straight one. lol

Just by changing the shower curtains, painting the wall and installing a new toilet your bathroom could definitely look like new. Great tips you just shared.

Great blog post. It just goes to show that even on a budget you can spruce up your bathroom. Don’t forget if you have a window in your bathroom updating the blind or changing the curtains to match the bath rug will also help give your bathroom a new look.
