Every Saturday I pick up the morning paper and go directly to the real estate section. I write a post every Saturday showcasing the weekend incentives that local Arizona home builders are offering. This morning I went to the real estate page and found nothing. I did not see one single advertisment. I am not sure what is going on, I guess we will have to see what next week will bring.
I also wanted to let everyone know that we have been working over time redoing the website. I will have more details about this later on this week. I hope you had a fun and safe Fourth of July.

I will have to share this post with some people who believe advertising on holiday weekends is pointless…Most agents/builders don’t advertise holiday weekends figuring “nobody will read the paper”…the ones who ignore that advice though would probably get more attention on holiday weekends than they would other times though!
I have noticed different things on different holidays. This July 4th was pretty dead. But last christmas time there were a few people looking around.
Advertising on holidays is usually a good idea if you live in a destination city like me (Los Angeles). Many locals are gone for the day but plenty tourists and prospective home scouts are around take their place.
