I wasn’t aware of the Home Depot Foundation before reading this article. It’s nice to hear that Home Depot is giving back to the community like this. Not all large multinational companies do give back. Congrats Home Depot, keep up the good work.

I just want to thank you, your people at the Schenectady, New York store helped me pick the right paint for the job. I am redoing second floor of the firehouse. I did two fireman cross`s with the inside picture`s of three firefighter`s raising the flag from the world trade center disaster. Plus other`s picture`s along our wall I will send pictures to show you. Thank you John Bailey and Scott Gruendle! I STILL HAVE MORE TO DO

The foundation really makes an impact on the local community. I think this draws more support for the big stores over the mom and pop stores for sure.

Big businesses often get negative publicity in the media so it is good to see the Home Depot doing great work that benefits the community.

It's interesting that I find out about the Home Depot Foundation from a real estate web site.I did not know about their foundation, thanks for sharing that and helping the people see its just not another corporation worrying about their bottom line.
