Start from my own home. I think going green can start right at home. We can do simple things around the house. And get the spirit of it.

Going green is always going to be a more expensive option in the short term, especially for consumers who aren't willing to change. Long term it will be a very good (and cheap) decision however in my opinion.

I think going green now is more like a business thing compared to few years ago. With tax savings in place many businesses are going more green.

What a shame it is has taken what 20 years of struggle for the green movement to be taken seriously. The average Mr and Mrs have little persuasion or energy rather, to influence change yet the people we love to hate get out there and actually do change the world. It take all kinds, but gee it would be good if we could begin to do what is right for the inhabitants of the planet we call home.

I believe alot of people are changing their ways when it comes to being green. You may not see it all around you, but many are starting to change.

I'm not sure selfish is the right word. Perhaps it is more short sighted, or misguided. After all, the consequences of catastrophic climate change are very unpleasant, so if people were convinced of the risks they would take action precisely because of selfishness.
I think people appear to be selfish, but I think they are just resisting authority, distrusting scientists and politicians, or just don't know who to believe.

It seems that Florida is on the right track when it comes to going green. They seem to be putting a good effort to save the resources from our planet. California is starting to make way as well.

In New Zealand we always have a lot of news and pressure in the media about maintaining a Green image. What many people fail to see however is that it is very expensive in many cases to achieve this. Definitely worth the struggle however in my opinion.
