Big things are coming out of St. Augustine in 2010. World Golf Village is one of the most well-known master planned developments in Northeast Florida. Home to the World Golf Hall of Fame as well as two world-class championship golf courses and many, many other amenities, homes at World Golf Village are a hot commodity. Unfortunately, it has been a while since there was any new construction within any of the neighborhoods, so if you want to life the luxurious lifestyle at WGV, resale is your only option…or so it was!
The St. Augustine golf community has announced new construction projects in four of their neighborhoods for 2010! Whether looking for a golf front retirement home in an active adult community or a luxury estate home on the King & Bear golf course, the new construction at World Golf Village caters to most every way of life:
- Two new custom homes are currently under construction at The Crest, which is one of the exclusive neighborhoods of The Estates.
- Providence Homes is building a spec home, which will be completed sometime this month, at GroveWood, a family-friendly neighborhood with homes priced from the mid $300′s.
- Laterra Links has broken ground on the first of four new multi-unit buildings, all of which should be completed by the end of the year. The new buildings will result in a total of 12 new coach homes from Legacy Builders.
- The Cascades is under the new ownership of Dockstreet Communities, and to celebrate this occasion, the builder has broken ground on six new model homes, which are anticipated to open in June 2010. The community will still cater to adults aged 55 and over, and the model homes are within walling distance to the community clubhouse and amenities.
