Sonoran Foothills is an 800-acre master planned community located in the foothills of North Phoenix, 1-mile south of the Carefree Highway at 27th Avenue. The development is connected by public and private trail systems that meander through natural desert landscapes; trails lead to the nearby mountains. It’s a development that preserves the natural surroundings, but also offers residents quality homes and the many amenities that you’d expect from a master planned development. At its completion, the community will be home to nearly 4,500 residents.
Sonoran Foothills Amenities
Sonoran Foothills has an abundance of amenities. There are basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, a soccer field, a splash pad, a lap & leisure pool, a children’s pool, armadas, picnic areas, a “big green grassy lawn”, a 4,000 square foot clubhouse, individual neighborhood pocket parks and much more. In addition, an elementary school is in the plan and there are proposed retail and commercial centers.

Sounds like an exciting place to live. Is the price comparable to other communities in the local area? That would be my biggest concern.
Sounds like a nice community eventhough I’m not a desert person.
The one reason I want to move to this area is because I am deeply into astronomy, one of the best states in the U.S. if you are in this field because there is very little light pollution in the country of Arizona, which is 95% of the state.
