It seems like a good idea to get more buyers, anything to help move more new houses would be a bonus.

Lennar is still trying to move some of its standing inventory from last year. They’ve cut prices again, in some cases by as much as 50k. Their homes are pretty nice, Energy Star rated and come with a 10 year warranty.
