Northern Arizona Master Planned Community
Northern Arizona real estate has shown a significant slowdown in activity in comparison to new home sales in the first quarter of 2007 to new home sales in the beginning of 2008. However, some developers and custom home builders have continued to find a way to make sales, despite the sluggish economy. Talking Rock, a master-planned community located in Prescott, Arizona, has reported the sale of six custom home-sites.
“We are pleased with the pace at which we are selling homes and home-sites,” stated Jim Jones, director of sales for Talking Rock. Jones credits the recent sales to new incentives in a community that offers unique opportunities to homebuyers.
Master planned communities provide residents with many more amenities and community activities than average residential communities, and Talking Rock is no exception. Resident amenities include a club house, fitness center, coffee house, and pro golf shop to accompany Talking Rock’s private 18-hole golf course. Furthermore, Talking Rock residents have countless activities to choose from, ranging from traditional outdoor activities to supervised workouts at the fitness center.

That’s good news to hear. Most of the builders down here I think are having the best luck with their inventory homes that they have laying around (after a very nice discount, incentives etc). I’d love to get up there to check it out during some of our 120 degree Scottsdale heat this summer.
No kidding! It is absolutely beautiful up-north this time of year. Yeah, I’ve spoken to several builders who have been doing a pretty good job of reducing their inventories so far this year. Of course, some builders are also having luck auctioning off some of their inventory homes too.
well, thats good news indeed… with the present condition of the economy… people should start to dig deep… get those strategies going…
