I wouldn’t want to be a builder selling new homes right now. Here in Las Vegas they are practically giving them away, although sales have picked up in the last few months.
Vegas guy..I was actaully going to say that..I am a FLA investor and although I wouldn’t touch that market now, I am on builders mailing lists and I am getting offers for 70k on brand new never lived in houses that they sold for 250k during the boom. Still can’t figure if it’s a good opportunity! There’s no jobs there!

Same thing in Phoenix right now. My parents built a home through Maracay about a year and a half ago, and the same model is now selling for a couple hundred thousand less :/
I think with everything levelling out, now has to be the time to buy if you have the capital.
