This winter, if you’re a Richmond, Va. resident, free yourself from shoveling snow, and buy or build a new home in one of Boone Homes’ maintenance-free communities. Boone Homes has five Richmond area communities, that come with zero maintenance and overflow with luxury.
Prices begin from the $300,000s, and this Richmond home builder‘s no maintenance communities feature the “Lock and Leave” lifestyle, with no worrying about yard work year-round. You can just grab your things, lock the door, and head off to wherever you need to go.
Maintenance-free lifestyles in Boone Homes’ communities feature: leaf removal, grass cutting, lawn irrigation (including payment of the irrigation water bill), seasonal chemical applications, snow removal, exterior painting, and annual gutter cleaning too. The “Lock and Leave” idea works great for young professionals, retirees, and busy families alike, who don’t have the time or desire to worry about yard work.
In all of these Richmond neighborhoods, you’ll find sparkling granite countertops, kitchen islands, hardwood floors, and even coffered ceilings, among other updates and upgrades. Home owners enjoy the spacious design of each home, and especially freedom from maintaining the exterior.

Good post. It seems many new home communities are luring prospective buyers by providing free maintenance services. Thank you for sharing this. Consumers in the market for a new home will appreciate this information.
In Minnesota, we call thee types of homes “detached townhomes” or sometimes “cluster homes.”
These communities are great but the free maintenance really isn’t “free”, it’s just included in the monthly HOA dues. My community’s HOA dues are 660 a year and it includes 100% yard maintenance in the front yard so that’s neat.
