Thanks for the link to the article. I’ve always thought that modular would mean that I would have to give up options I wanted – sounds like it doesn’t.
I have seen a lot of magazines (Sunset, etc.) recently about customizing modular homes. They can look great, like the pictures on the New Observer site. What I have seen is that they customize them so much to their personal style that they might not have a broader marketing appeal.
