Residents of Quail Run have an exciting new recreational opportunity nearby, now that the Twisted Pine Hunting Preserve is open for business, making this community an ideal destination for residents looking for West Point Ga new homes.
Offering 2,100 acres of pristine hunting countryside in east Alabama and west Georgia, the preserve is conveniently located just minutes from the communities of Quail Run, making it an ideal community for hunting enthusiasts.
The preserve is managed by Colorado State University graduate, Kyle Farner. An enthusiastic and life-longer hunter, Farner maintains the property with controlled burns, supplemental feed and mineral stations, food plots, predator control and selective harvests in an effort to insure hunters have a healthy selection of dove, whitetail deer and turkey. Dove hunts are already sold out for the 2010-2011 season, and deer hunts are expected to be popular as well.
Quail Run, a master-planned community, features classically southern floor plans on sprawling green lots. Numerous homes offering the best in southern architecture are available. Community amenities include a pool, pool pavilion, tennis courts, a multi-purpose sports field and fishing pond.

Sounds like my kind of place. I’d love to have a hunting reserve that close to home.
To me this sounds like an ideal community. I guess that you should wear orange when walking around so as not to get shot. Is there a premium for these homes? Are they comparable in price to similar homes near there that don’t have a hunting preserve?
@Doug – lol
You raise a good point about wearing orange.
Perhaps people moving in should just wear an entirely orange wardrobe… y’know… Just in case
