There are SO many great deals on financing. With the interest rate so low and the first time home buyer credit, I’m a little surprised the market still seems to very slow. Home sales here in Beaufort, South Carolina are off by 23%.

I think price reduction is the only thing that can get the housing market back on track. We are finally seeing some lowering of prices here. Thanks goodness. Hopefully the combination of great financing deals like the ones in your list and better home prices will get the market out of flux.

Interesting site. Do any of these builders offer to build homes to order. I’ve always liked the idea of having a new house, but I would want it to be different – my house rather than a standard design.

How cheap can you get a house for in the U.S. at the moment? I'm sure I heard you can pick something up for $5,000 if you scrimp.
