Heron Bay to Host a Blood Drive

On February 27 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. the residents of master-planned community, Heron Bay Golf and Country Club are hosting a blood drive. The Mobile Blood unit will be parked at the community’s Sales and Information Center, making it easy for everyone to come out and donate blood.

If you can’t make the event this Saturday, make sure to go ahead and make an appointment with one of the many donation centers across the metro Atlanta area. All those who donate blood between now and March 31 will be entered to win a $1,000 gift card. To be entered to win, visit the Red Cross Web site and enter the sponsor code ‘heronbay’.

Before you head out to give blood, make sure you meet all of the eligibility requirements. Everyone who donates blood must be 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds and be healthy. What does ‘healthy’ mean? In order to be considered healthy one must feel well and  be able to perform normal, everyday activities. In addition, if you have a chronic condition you must be receiving treatment and the condition must be under control in order to donate blood.

While you’re out at Heron Bay on Saturday you should take the opportunity to take a tour of this amazing master-planned community. With several different neighborhoods, builders, floorplans and price points, it’s easy to find the home that best fits your families needs. Whether you’re interested in a luxury home that overlooks the golf course, or an active adult home that will ease your daily routine, Heron Bay has just what you’re looking for.

Come on out and see why so many have chosen to call this Atlanta golf community home.
