I live in Western North Carolina where Deltec is Based. They have a new model open & have seen several in person. While definitely different the usage of space would take a little getting used to. However acoustically, no 2 walls area parallel, energy-wise its very efficient too. There is no single panel greater than 8feet wide so it is very wind resistant. There are many stories of hurricanes (with appropriate wind package) not doing any damage to these homes other than a few singles gone if that while their neighboring rectangular counterparts are leveled. My wife & I are seriously considering this for out next home.

The shape of the house brings a lot of character to the overall physique and look of the home. Is the same type of flooring evident throughout the entire house? It looks like tile in the kitchen but what about other areas of the house?

I am from Africa and i stumbled upon your website randomly and i have been glued since,Deltic homes are tremendously unique and surprisingly very functional.In my country we strictly build with brick and cement and not wood because of the hot and wet weather season that create breeding ground for termites to eat up the wood,i love the round shape and was wondering if the concept will come through with brick and cement.Fantastic job,well done deltic homes.

Great information on green homes. The floor plan is so natural and easy to see that it is the way to go moving forward. I am a small business owner that builds additions and I really enjoyed looking at the floor plans.

That really is a cool looking house! I’ve been around the construction industry for many years, not too long ago, and I’ve never seen anything like this home.
