I run a site called vacation rental reviews and have been seeing an increased interest in golf packages associated with vacation rentals. Although I don’t currently have golf packages on my site, there are some on one of our listings, Sunbelt Vacation Reviews.

Carol, I got updates from my friend regarding the tampa market and the trend prevailing there. But IMHO having a housing at the neck of the woods of a world golf village is something attractive for serious golf pros. A right strategy targeting them would attract some serious leads and deals can be sealed as well. I wish all the best and hope the trends move more to the north in the future.

Mack,
Interesting idea. I would love to hear your thoughts.
There are several touring professionals that live in Ponte Vedra which is nearby. We have one World Golf Hall of Fame member living at World Golf Village. We would love to have more professionals in our community.

World golf village does attract serious golfers. It is a place that is on my list to visit. Being a west coast player I rarely make it to Florida.

Sounds like a great place to live and play golf.
Living on a golf course is the best way to improve your game. Let’s face it, the more you play the better you get–sometimes in spite of yourself.

The Golf World Village sounds like a great place in Florida to play golf every day for those retired like me. I was not aware of the Golf World Village before reading your site.
