We consumed electricity higher than we expected and this cost too much from our budget. This is what I really need to solve in able for us to save. As a wife I keep searching how to spend expenses lesser than we earned. But I guess my problem has ended up because we need first to follow your advice a floor plan before building our new home. What a great help to the consumers. Thank you.

I agree. However, you have much to consider when designing and building a new energy-efficient house, and no doubt, it can be a challenge.

Thanks for the floor plan. We have lived in several houses that are about as far away from energy efficient as possible. I have paid some ridiculous AC/Heating bills too because of this. We are looking into more energy efficient housing options and your post was great for some info. Thanks!

In my Charlotte, NC realty business, I find my clients more focused on green housing and energy efficiency. I like the Family of Four floor plan above… it should prove a fine choose for those building.

I checked out the site FreeGreen.com and it was really awesome. Within the near future I will be house hunting and these “go-green” floor plans are fantastic. I would prefer to invest now on a green friendly home then trying to update an older home. Installing efficent heating and cooling systems make a huge difference.
