Luxury Home Floor Plan
I recently came across an interesting website that allows homebuyers to purchase floor plans. The site is www.eplans.com and their user-friendly interface allows home plan shoppers to easily select from square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms, stories, and garages. In addition, an advanced search option permits the user to further refine their search.
I thought it would be interesting to highlight one of their more extravagant house plans, so I began by selecting from plans of five bedrooms or more. After viewing several traditional and not-so-traditional homes, I came across a 7,031 square foot home plan provided by Home Planners.
While a specific name is not assigned to this plan, it is referred to as a New American style house, its main level is 3,913 square feet, and has a total of five bedrooms with seven baths (four full-baths and three half-baths). The house is three stories with three garages and 131 feet wide by 75 feet deep.
Features include a master suite, formal dining room, kitchen with breakfast nook, home office, game room, media room, wine cellar, and attic space.
The cost to purchase reproducible master plans of this house costs $2,400. Five sets of blueprints can be purchased for $1,675. For an additional fee of $29.95 ePlans will provide you with an estimate for the average cost to build the floor plan of your choice. It appears that they have partnered up with U Build It – a nationally run network of franchised construction companies that builds new homes – and buyers can click through to their website through a large banner advertisement.

Quite a Beautiful home. Would be lovely on the ocean! Here in Nova Scotia!
Purchasing floor plans is a great way to be able to tailor and individualize your home. This along with implementing your favorite type of flooring will really allow you to help design the home of your dreams.
Lovely looking home – And I did not realise you could simply purchase blue prints such as this. We have been with designers over the past 3 months developing the designs for our new property, something we thought would be an easy process but in fact takes a lot of time and details
What a great post! Looks like a nice house.
