Buyers in Austin, especially if they have kids, need to know that the great deals in Del Valley come with a trade-off. The schools aren’t very good. My hope is that with the growth in the area largly thanks to the new airport and cheap land that a greater population will lead to better performance, but buyers with kids need to check out schools before buying no matter where they are looking.
Good idea focusing on floorplans. I’ve always saved the floor plan descriptions of developments I have visited. They come in handy now and then when clients have specific questions.

Jodi – I too find that many buyers are more and more interested in their new home’s floor plan, than elevations, fascade, add-ons, etc.
