On Saturday the 22ed, 2010 California West Communities released phase four of Monteluz’s and Andalusia’s homes for sale at 4S Ranch. These San Diego new homes scream elegance from the time you walk in the front door of one of their four floorplans, including their single story floorplan, which is the only single plan found in all of 4S Ranch master planned community.
Each floorplan meets the need of today’s homebuyers with flexible, open living spaces.
“Floorplan’s flow as it relates to the useable space in the family area which is important so when you enter the home, you want to be able to get good visual, good perspective on how the house is going to function. We spent a lot of time understanding where are people going to live in these homes, like in great rooms vs. living rooms and dining rooms. Oversize some of those areas, the kitchens areas have large expansive islands, that interface with the dining areas as well as the great rooms and then all of that flows to the outside. We want to make sure that the homesites are large enough to accommodate that kind of life style.” Said California West Communities CEO Robert Thorne.
In fact both Monteluz and Andalusia new homes offer some of the largest yards at 4S Ranch as Mr. Thorne continued, “We make sure the floorplans don’t eat up the whole lot. Therefore our back yards back here [at 4s Ranch] are between 30-35 feet and that is typical of our projects. We’re not usually going to take a house, fill a whole lot with it and there is nothing left outside.”
With larger than most yards that you typically find in a community and flexible, open rooms, these San Diego new homes by California West Communities, feel like they were built to meet your personal needs. With standard granite kitchen counter tops and stainless steel appliances, the home feels custom, and this is no accident according to Mr. Thorne.
“We get a lot of complements that the homes feel different than some of our competitors. We had people tell us that they feel semi custom. I don’t know if that is the case, but again the perception becomes the reality. The buyer’s look and feel a certain way about a home, well I guess that is what it is. That is our goal to make them feel different, to make them flow different, so they don’t look and feel like just another production house. We are trying to do something different.”

Sounds like a great community. Good to see some building going on in San Diego.
