I think Elliott Homes also build in the UK, I might be wrong but I haven’t seen as much discount being offered over here as there is in the US.
People are obviously offering the incentives because like most things right now there is very little credit to go around, and people are squeamish.
Still, if you have cash there’s some beautiful properties to be had at excellent prices.
New homes are having to compete with foreclosures here in Las Vegas. Most builders have had continually special sales events since October. FYI, you have a typo on the year in the Ryland section!

It’s amazing to see these kinds of savings on something as big as a house. Its a great opportunity for some but of course for most people (myself included) the recession means even with these offers its difficult to come up with enough of a downpayment.
