If the Brannon oak farm featured home of the week, then it truly deserved it and more from the description you’ve given of it. I’d like to say that I love the kitchen more from a home owner aspect but may not so much if I were to just give my opinion of it from a brief overview.

Yes I completely agree, location is and should be the most important factor when deciding to relocate and rent out the other one, thereby enjoying some extra income. But one thing more should be given due consideration, that house should be chosen from where it is most convenient to reach their work places.

I second the idea of insulating pipes. This definitely helps your hot water heater perform much more efficiently, which brings down energy costs.
