But, this is typical of government waste. They borrowed the money from china so we can have a rebate to buy LG and Samsung (s korea) and others, to take from repair techs (little guys) and give to big companies. Well, I could be wrong but this is the way it sounds to me. It is an advantage for the home appliances and other energy saving product manufacturers, in midst of recession or its recovery. But don’t know if the model is a practical one. How many people would actually go for buy something as big as a fridge during an economic melt down? But saving up money and energy on using home appliances which cut down on energy consumption is a brilliant one.
