The population of active adults in America is steadily increasing as our nation’s Baby Boomer’s mature and reach retirement. More recently, active adults aren’t actually retiring, they retire just to start a new business or career and look towards active adult communities to provide them with friendships and activities to do in their new found free time.

Active adult communities have been around for several years. The number of current active adult communities continues to increase as do the amenities and features in these new communities. Home builders research current trends, wants and needs, and make an incredible effort to build communities for active adults that meet these wants and needs.
