Sonoran Foothills is an 800 acre planned community located just north of Phoenix, Arizona. Set against a desert landscape, the community features a wide variety of amenities targeted towards residents of all ages. From private parks and event lawns to an expansive system of public and private walking trails, Sonoran Foothills offers something for everyone.
The community offers a 4,000 square foot clubhouse and a community park, allowing families to host events and family get togethers. There is a large splash fountain for children to play in, as well as a lap pool for health conscious residents. For sports enthusiasts, Sonoran Foothills has a basketball court, a tennis court, a soccer field, and a volleyball court.
One of the most defining features of Sonoran Foothills is the proposed mountain nature preserve that will be connected to the community by a system of walking and hiking trails. The preserve will be home to a wide variety of flora and fauna native to the area, allowing residents to interact with nature within a short walk of their neighborhood.
Other planned amenities and features for the community include an elementary school, a shopping center, and private parks for residents with children. Upon completion of this desert development, there will be roughly 1,800 homes, more than 7 miles of public and private trail systems and nearly 4,000 residents.
